NES Classics are coming back, baby.

After selling out in stores immediately and leaving thousands of Nintendo fans disappointed, the NES Classic Edition is returning to stores starting June 29, Nintendo announced with a tweet Sunday. The throwback consoles are expected to be available through the end of 2018.

The NES Classic was a huge hit when it first came out in November 2016 — much more of a hit than Nintendo expected. The company was not able to keep up with demand for the console, which contains 30 classic NES games like Super Mario Bros., Metroid, The Legend of Zelda, and Donkey Kong.

After months of immediately selling out whenever it came in stock, the NES Classic was discontinued by Nintendo in April 2017. Nintendo never really gave a full explanation for what went wrong with their first throwback console, which made fans feel like they were left on the curb.

Luckily, for anyone who couldn't get their hands on an NES Classic in its first run (including this reporter), they will have a chance to try again this summer, and hopefully Nintendo will be able to keep up with the demand.

The NES Classic will still cost $60 and will likely be available through all the major retailers that sold it previously (except Toys R Us, RIP).
