black-ish Season 4's previously shelved "Please, Baby, Please" is now available on Hulu. In 2018, ABC (owned by Disney) decided to shelve the episode, in which Dre (Anthony Anderson) expresses fear about Donald Trump's presidency through an allegorical bedtime story for his baby. Show creator Kenya Barris shared the news on social media Monday.

"Following the re-airing of 'Juneteenth' and 'Hope,' I asked Walt Disney Television to revisit making ['Please, Baby, Please'] available," Barris wrote. "Recognizing the importance of this moment, they listened and agreed."

Back when the episode was produced, mainstream media and large companies sung a different tune regarding major social issues during the Trump presidency — often choosing not to sing at all. "Please, Baby, Please" includes not only Dre's improvised bedtime story, but frank conversations with his father and son about social justice and civil rights, including athletes kneeling during the national anthem. The young twins even come to Dre expressing their fears about climate change and Trump's decision to withdraw from the Paris Accords.

Hulu subscribers can now stream "Please, Baby, Please" here.
