The 2018 Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning, and -- as per usual when it comes to the Globes -- there were certainly some surprises.
On the TV side, Amazon's just-released new outing The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel(by Gilmore Girlsscribe Amy Sherman-Palladino) made a strong showing, and is likely the early favorite for comedy actress, as this awards program loves to nominate a breakout ingenue.

For dramas, standard faves such as Game of Thrones, The Handmaid's Tale, and Stranger Things will all duke it out.
On the movie side, Ridley Scott's All the Money in the Worldgot a strong show of support. Remember: Just a few weeks before release, Scott replaced Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer (who is nominated) after the allegations against Spacey became known.
