The unspecified issue caused some iPhone 6, 6 Plus and iPhone SE owners to experience connectivity problems when they updated to iOS 10, according to T-Mobile. On Thursday, the company advised customers with affected models to hold off on updating their software until Apple could push a fix. That has now happened, with the update coming ahead of schedule, the company said. 。

Neither Apple nor T-Mobile has elaborated on the source of the issue. 。

Though the stumble was likely one Apple would have preferred to avoid, the T-Mobile bug doesn't appear to have had a huge impact on the adoption of iOS 10, which became publicly available earlier this week. The operating system has already been installed on more than 15 percent of devices, according to estimates from analytics company Mixpanel. 。
