Over 50 countries from six continents have teams in the competition. You can check out each country's roster here.。
The player with the most votes from each country became the designated captain of their country's team; three more team slots were filled by the people with the next three highest vote totals. The remaining two slots were picked by the team's captain.。

Teams without many competitive players will have a very difficult time making it to the playoffs in November; each region has a single-elimination online qualifier to determine who makes it through. The top sixteen teams, including six that will automatically qualify, will battle for the championship at BlizzCon in Anaheim, California.。
