Samsung wants to up your selfie game. 。 Two new investor notes from reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI give new insight into Samsung's 2017 performance, 9to5gogle。reports. Kuo predicts that the Galaxy Note 8, to release later this year, will be the company's first dual-camera smartphone. 。The cameras will include an impressive 3x optical zoom (the optical zoom on the iPhone 7 Plus is 2x) and have 12-megapixel resolution for wide-angle images (13MP with the telephoto). The two lenses will also both include optical image stabilization. Kuo claims the "Note 8's dual-camera will be much better than that of the iPhone 7 Plus, and likely to match that of OLED iPhone," a reference the forthcoming iPhone (AKA the iPhone 8).

The feedback from consumers has been "better than expected," he says, which the analyst attributes to the "selling point in the full-screen design."
