Apple really wants you to spend more time in their stores-- so much so that they've unveiled a new name for their retail spaces.
During Tuesday's Apple Event at the Steve Jobs Theater, Senior Vice President of Retail Angela Ahrendts revealed that the company will now refer to its stores as "town squares" because they view their retail spaces as places for community gatherings.

This is just the latest in Apple's quest to get more people in stores-- in April, the company announced a "Today at Apple" program that offers in-store workshops.
But "town squares"? It's a little much, Apple.
