President Donald Trump took advantage of Twitter's expanded character count on Tuesday -- but the excess words didn't really add much.

Instead Trump added a politically charged comment about China's president, considering his re-election wasn't the most democratic process. It looks like more spacious tweets leave room for more controversial statements.

Trump really embraced the long tweets. Within an hour of his first 140-plus tweet, Trump sent out another one. This tweet contained 215 characters about the Virginia gubernatorial election.
