Well,Game of Thronesfans, it's official: there are FIVE spinoffs currently in development at HBO. George R.R. Martin confirmed this the other day on his blog, but sadly none of them will cover the most popular spinoff idea, Robert's Rebellion. "By the time I finish writing A SONG OF ICE & FIRE, you will know every important thing that happened in Robert's Rebellion," he wrote. Bummer!

So what arethe five ideas then? It's all speculation right now, but here are some ideas we came up with that we'd love to see explored in an HBO series.
1. Syrio Forel's past
Via Giphy
I can't be the only one who is fascinated by Arya's water dancing instructor from Season 1, the enigmatic Syrio Forel. He was a master swordsman, and not to mention, incredible badass. Under his "History" section in the A Song of Fire and Ice wiki it says:
The day the old First Sword died, the Sealord of Braavos sent for Syrio. Syrio, upon entering the Sealord's presence, was asked what was special about the cat, claimed to be from a far off land, seated on the Sealord's lap. Syrio answered him truthfully, telling him that he has seen tomcats like him a thousand times in the alleys of Braavos. Because he saw the reality of what the cat was, common not special and male not female, he was named First Sword.
Very cool! I think it would be a great move by HBO to show Syrio Forel's exciting past as a cat expert, running around the alleys of Braavos seeing and studying cats. That way we can really explore how he came to the conclusion that the Sealord of Braavos' cat was not special.
The series would only touch on the cat stuff though, no sword fighting and no violence. Let's really dive into Syrio's exotic cat past before he became the First Sword of Braavos.

2. Just Varys commuting
Via Giphy
Varys has been known to travel incessantly in Game of Thrones, sometimes appearing in King's Landing in one episode, showing up in Essos an episode later, and then reappearing in King's Landing in the next episode. That is an incredible amount of travel. How does he commute these great distances all the time?
I think it would be fascinating to just see Varys' days of commuting by boat, carriage, or other, crammed into a tiny room or worse, bored out of his goddamn skull for 53 minutes a week. Just sitting uncomfortably in a tiny space going absolutely insane from the tediousness.
3. The guy who Oberyn stabbed in the wrist in the brothel and his road to recovery from the stabbing
In Season 4, the hot-tempered Oberyn Martell is patronizing a brothel when he hears two Lannister soldiers singing "The Rains of Castamere" and confronts them. After one of them goes for his sword, Oberyn stabs his wrist through the table. Yee-ouch!
The two soldiers then run off in search of medical aid for the poor stabbed guy, but we never see them again. Why? Was he okay? Did he ever gain full control of his hand? There are plenty of unanswered questions from this pivotal scene and I would love to see a few seasons on this Lannister soldier's road to recovery from this incident.
4. Hot Pie's parents
Via Giphy
We all love Hot Pie, Arya's friend from Season 2, but we don't know anything about his parents. Who were they? How did they meet? This is a subject of hot debate amongst Game of Thrones diehards and I think HBO has a lot of room to explore them and their relationship.
5. This guy
