The Seattle Seahawks will face the New Orleans Saints on Halloween eve and Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is already embracing the spirit.
Sherman showed up to Wednesday's press conference in full Harry Potter garb — robe, glasses, magic wand and all. He even strolled up to the podium as Harry Potter theme music played on his phone.
"This is a serious occasion," Sherman said as he reached the podium. "It's Halloween. My son told me he wanted me to wear something, so it's happening."

Sherman used his magic wand to call on reporters, many of whom played along with the gag and asked Harry Potter-related questions ahead of the Sunday game.

"When you're a wizard like we are out here sometimes you have to show it to the muggles out in the world," Sherman said when asked about his costume choice.
J.K. Rowling, who wrote the Harry Potter series, dug it.
Did I ever mention that I'm a #Seahawks fan? Well, I am.

Sherman might need some magic against the Saints this weekend. The opposing quarterback, Drew Brees, leads NFL quarterbacks with 17 touchdowns and 106 passing first downs.
