It looks like White House was in total chaos following the news that Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.

How bad was it? Too crazy for words.

"When asked Tuesday night for an update on the unfolding situation, one top White House aide simply texted a reporter two fireworks emoji," according to a juicy story fromWashington Post. The piece claims the White House was totally unprepared for the fallout and had to scramble to put together a response.

The president was "irate" as he watched coverage of the firing on TV, the Post reported. Here's a "West Wing official" on how it went down:

"This is probably the most egregious example of press and communications incompetence since we've been here. It was an absolute disaster. And the president watched it unfold firsthand. He could see it."

🎆 🎆 , indeed.

Actually, just texting emoji is probably a more effective media strategy than hiding in the bushes. Here's a few emoji to keep at the ready, White House officials.

The entire story is worth a read, especially as it details how White House officials pushed the FBI to prioritize looking into leaks to the press, over the Russia probe -- sometimes even urging the agency to investigate the sharing of information that wasn't classified or highly sensitive, which, of course, is not a crime.

So, it seems the Trump administration doesn't have everything together. At least its emoji game is strong, tho.
