After the tragic events in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday, people from all over the globe are showing their support for the victims.

The rainbow flag can be seen flying over government buildings, monuments and public bridges everywhere from Sydney, Australia, to New York, in solidarity with those injured and killed in the attack.

The shooting has claimed the lives of more than 50 people and injured 53, making it the worst mass shooting in American history.

Sydney Town Hall, the Welsh Assembly, St. Andrew's House in Edinburgh and the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville, Tennessee, are among the many tributes to Orlando.

The Empire State Building in New York, which shines nightly with bright, colorful lights, showed support for the victims by going dark on Sunday.
